Introduction
Since 1961, our friendly family run caravan park has provided luxury homes for many, with a wide variety of activities and services all around us. Nestled along the banks of the River Swale in a picturesque area which is surrounded by natural woodlands.
Yorkshire Dales
Richmond Caravan Park is situated in an ideal location for those wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales. We are within easy reach of the many interesting towns and villages that are full of character and history. If you don’t want to travel, then there is plenty to do close by. This includes riverside walks on your doorstep and the historic market town of Richmond which is only a short walking distance away.
Residential & Seasonal
As an established park we have to offer both luxury Holiday homes, for those wishing to get away during the more pleasant months of the year, and residential park homes, for a different way of living in a close-knit community, yet still having all the facilities and comforts that you would expect and need.

Our Story
Originally acting as site wardens on behalf of the local council, Colleen & Les Howley managed and developed the park from 1961 onwards.
Over time, Richmond Caravan Park gradually evolved. Initially, the park consisted predominantly of smaller touring caravans, however, larger mobile homes were added later in time.
Fast forward to the present day, the park is now managed by the 2nd and 3rd generations of the Howley family. Through their hands-on approach, Peter & Kirk have steadily upgraded the park's infrastructure since the early 2000s and continue to modernise the site layout to accommodate the latest lodges and holiday homes.
